Universal immortality

From Aware Theory

Universal immortality is based on the idea that immortality for conscious beings is based on the continued existence of the universe. There is also the concept of multiuniversal immortality that is proposed by awaretheory. It is more speculative than Universal immortality because of the speculative nature of multiple universes. We have good reasons to believe that this universe exists. We have some reasons to believe that other universes exist. But if multiple universes exist we do not know if they can, have, or will be producers of conscious beings.

Universal immortality is different from body immortality because it is not based on a specific body but what produces consciousness which awaretheory predicts is the correct structure and functioning of matter and energy. Awaretheory predicts that there is a very large set of physapaths for each original conscious human that will produce consciousnesses that have the same ixperiencitnesses. Any time any of these physapaths are produced that have the same ixperiencitness the original who ever that conscious being is, is experiencing the awarepaths that is produced by those physapaths. Unlike in body immortality death of a body is not the permanent end of conscious existence for that conscious being if universal immortality is true, as awaretheory predicts. As long as the universe can produce structures that can produce consciousnesses by way of their functioning, it is possible to experience conscious existence (again after death or multiply before death). There might also be other universes that can produce consciousnesses that have the desired ixperiencitnesses even if there is an end to this universe. This type of immortality is multiuniversal immortality. It might even be possible that conscious beings can create more universes, if this one has an end, that can produce consciousnesses with the same ixperiencitnesses as are produced in this universe.
