What do Atheists Believe Happens When we die?

When you are an atheist Legacy immortality is what you believe in when you do not believe in superimmortality. If you are an atheist and believe in superimmortality you can call yourself a superatheist. There are many reasons that people believe in religions that preach the existence of gods. One major reason is the fear of death. Many religions promise immortality based on god's ability to restore you to consciousness after death. Superimmortality is not based on if god happens to like you well enough to keep you alive or restore you after death. Superimmortality is based on science and technology and does not need any of a god's good will. Nor does superimmortality need continuousness of a body or continuity of your consciousness. Superimmortality is based on the structure and functioning of matter producing consciousnesses that have your ixperiencitness i.e., consciousnesses that you experience.
