New and different species of plants and animals

There is going to be a good crop of beef an chicken melons this year. I am not sure why the lobster and crab melons aren't doing so well. The fish and pork melons are about average in size and weight however. What we need is a better way of marketing these high protein melons. Every one that tries them say they taste exactly like the real thing. when used in cooking people can not tell the difference between them and the real thing. They are much better for people than the original meats. They are cheaper they do not destroy the environment. No animal has to be killed. There is very little waste. They do not need to be sprayed for insects or weeds or fertilized. They are consequently ecologically friendly. Well George, people are slow to change. The anti - genetic engineering groups spread many lies about what we have accomplished. You would at least think that vegetarians would like this option. But they don't seem to like the name. It is as if they were still eating animals just because they have the connotation of being animals because of the animal names. The muslim religious leaders have even officially banned the eating of pork melons.

These melons store for weeks on the shelf and for much longer in refrigeration. They are so easy to prepare all you have to do is slice then into circular pieces and peel off the skin then you can fry bake steam them.

One thing that has been very popular are the ornamental plants that have been developed for instance the Yucca is incredibly beautiful. The original version was hundreds of plum size creamy white flowers on a stock five to ten feet tall. They would bloom during the driest time of the year in the southwestern United States usually only after a wet spring. The modern versions have every color combination imaginable. There are wild stands of the different colors version now that when they are in bloom are unimaginably beautiful.

We have made amens for the destruction of species by creating many old varieties and on top of that many new varieties as well. One nice aspect of new varieties is that we can strengthen species to compete with introduced varieties. Another nice thing is that we are learning the genetic make up of many species so that even if they go extinct we can reproduce them when needed or wanted not only do we have the genetics we also know what they can do in different environments which ones are ideal for them. The we also know insects and diseases that do and don't cause problems for them.

Through genetic engineering the production from plants has increased so much that we have more land for parks and natural environments.

There have been problems with the different advancements we have made but it solved many of the problems that we were having.

I am think of becoming an ocean farmer. There is so much space that is not used yet, and ocean farms are so productive. Where most of the ocean is usually not very productive because the water is not fertile enough to get plants to grow well thus few animals are grown. Most of the earth is covered by the oceans and few people are usually on the oceans, just transporter, travelers, and fisherman.

With a little fertilizer, hydroponic techniques, and genetic engineering there is no end of what can be done on the oceans. The insects are not a problem because the need land or can be easily eliminated. The farms can be moved when necessary the farm waste is feed to the fish that like to live around the farms making fishing excellent There are not only the the sun shine to produce electricity but the waves and wind. Much of the material for the floating farms are just thousands of feet away on the sea floor. The farms are either made or coated with special plastics to protect them from the salt water the plants are genetically modified to produce the nitrogen it needs and to with stand salt water. Every plant that is on land has been modified to survive in ocean farms. Plus many more. Some farms just fertilize the surface water. Where as others use ocean water in inclosed hydroponic green houses. The algae has been modified to produce any types of chemicals that are needed so the plastics and fuels are just grown.

The farms are made of material that can not sink. So they are much safer than ships that have to be small and light for traveling the oceans. The oceans produce so much food and fuel for the world that much of the land has been turned into parks with many new species of plants and animals. People of the earth only live in crowded places when they want to now. Even though there are billions more people on earth now. Among the floating farms are floating resorts with beaches, coves, bays, water sports, tropical vegetation and climate.
