Predictability argument for superimmortality

From Aware Theory

The predictability argument for superimmortality are the arguments that superimmortality is much more predictive and scientifically predictive than any religious theory or the death of the body is final end of the conscious self theory.

Religious theories to be predictive need to be able to predict the behavior of supernatural objects like gods, souls, and processes like reincarnation but they cannot because these concepts can not be found and observed to be studied.

Examples: Predictions made by the science of superimmortality:

  1. Identical structure and functioning produced in another body produces identical consciousness and ixperiencitness in this other body.
  2. There are an extremely large amount of slightly different structures and functionings of a body that will produce the same consciousness and ixperiencitness.
  3. Some what greater changes in the structure and functioning can produce slight variations in the consciousness but with the same ixperiencitness.
  4. Still greater changes in the structure and functioning of different bodies from that of the original can produce greater changes in the consciousness but with the same ixperiencitness.

Examples: Fifty years after the death of a person the structure and functioning of that person is restored in a body to the way it was at a time before death. What will be the consciousness and ixperiencitness produce by that body? Superimmortality predicts that as long as the structure and functioning is closely enough identical to the way it was the consciousness and ixperiencitness will be same. The religious theories of life after death can not predict what consciousness and ixperiencitness will be produced because it will depend on what the gods want and how souls interact with bodies after death. Religious theories have no way to know this information and thus no way to predicts these results with any accuracy. On the other hand if death is final --- that a person (self) will never consciously experience anything ever again after death, as many believe, this other person, will not have the consciousness or ixperiencitness of the original. But then what consciousness and ixperiencitness will be produced by this structural and functionally identical body? They have no way to know or predict. What is even worse if another body is created with identical structure and functioning to the first two as predicted by this theory they can not have identical consciousnesses or ixperiencitnesses with these first two either. However, their behaviors, nonetheless, will be identical. All structural and functional identical copies of the original body will have identical behavior with identical references to the same memories, self identity, skills, abilities, knowledge, feelings, emotions, goals and every other aspect of their inner consciousnesses. There maybe an acceptance by believers of this theory that every identical to very closely identical structure and functioning body will produce the same consciousness but they can not accept that they will have the same ixperiencitness because this would be accepting superimmortality. Superimmortality predicts what ixperiencitness will be produced in many different circumstances
