Proof sequence 3a

From Aware Theory
Jump to: navigation, search

You are the structure and functioning of a body not a body because what you believe to be your body can exist when there is no consciousness produced by that body thus your body can exist without you existing.

By changing the structure and functioning of your body enough any other consciousness can be produced. Thus you body can produce any number of differnt memories self identities, abilities, skills, personality traits, etc.

There is no conscious produced by a physapoint. It is a term used to designate a point in a physaspace. It takes functioning of matter to produce consciousness. A body that does not change does not produce consciousness or awareness. A brain that does not change does not produce consciousness. The brain is the part of the body that produces consciousness by way of its functioning. Are you a consciousness or are you a body? If you are not conscious you do not exist. Your body can exist and not produce any consciousness. The awareness of this body of yours, especially when you are not conscious requires the existence of other consciousness producing bodies. If others are not conscious then they have no awareness of your body. Consciousness is thus necessary for your dead or live conscious existence. This does not mean that reality is dependent on there being conscious beings. The consciousness about reality requires conscious bodies but conscious bodies are not required for the existence of reality. The matter that the body is made of needs to exist before the existence of the consciousness produced by the body.

There are two very important ideas concerning what a person is or can be. The first is how long do you exist for? and what are all of the things that you can experience? Assuming that there is no soul or other supernatural factors, most people would say you consciously exist as long as your body is alive. Just because people may believe this does not make it true. But there seems to be adequate evidence that for a large part of your life you experience the consciousness that your body produces. Scientifically we can ask questions like did you consciously exists an hour ago to now? You might answer that you do not remember part of that time because you were asleep or do not remember experiencing some other part of that time period because of drugs or injury. What ever period of time you think that you consciously existed in your brain was changing or functioning. We can conclude that what consciously makes you is a set of sequences of structures and functionings of your body interspaced with your brain still functioning and changing but no awareness produced during these periods.

Reductio ad absurdum arguments for superimmortality with the cidentireplica not producing the same ixperiencitness.

Assume that there can not be a change in matter of the brain without producing a change in ixperiencitness. Result, you could not eat drink or breath without changing the ixperiencitness produced by the identical structured and functioning body.
Assume that there can not be a change in place of the brain without producing a change in ixperiencitness. Result, you could not move without changing the ixperiencitness produced by the identical structured and functioning body.
Assume that there can not be a change in time of the brain without producing a change in ixperiencitness. Result, you could not move through time without changing the ixperiencitness produced by the identical structured and functioning body.
Assume that there can not be a change in continuity of the brain without producing a change in ixperiencitness. Result there could be no periods of not being conscious because it is to big of a change in continuity produced by the identical structured and functioning body.
Assume that there can not be an increase in speed of replacement of matter in the body without producing a change in ixperiencitness. Result, replacement of whole body parts like legs, arms, organs, skin, would produce a different ixperiencitness.
Assume that there can not be a change in continuousness of the brain without producing a change in consciousness. Result,
