Versions of immortality sometimes a concept is defined as all or nothing in this case a person either is immortal or is not immortal. The problem is, what if there are actually variety or variations in the definition of the name immortality. What if there are actually different types of immortality? The simplest definition of immortality is not ever dying. If there is no flexibility in the term dying, immortality becomes more difficult to accomplish because people and conscious being die for all sorts of reasons like accidents, old age, diseases, murder, etc. No matter how long you live if you can possible die you will never be immortal within this definition.

A better definition is for any individual person immortality is where there will never be a time where they cannot experience being alive or having more specifically conscious existence again. This is a very broad definition allowing all sorts of ways of achieving this goal this all sorts of types or version of immortality. Why this definitions and not continuous conscious existence as the definition for immortality? The question is continuous from whose perspective? From an external observer or from your perspective? If a billion years from now the same structure and functioning is produced in another body that is produced in your body now it will produce your ixperiencitness and the consciousness that your body in producing now. To you then it will be the same as it is now if all else is the same. It will seem to you as if no time has passed at all.

This bring us to one type of immortality continuous experienced existence even if the there is no real time continuousness of consciousness and ixperiencitness there can be many types of experienced continuous existence.

If there is continuous experienced existence then there can be discontinuous experienced existence as well. This is where the original experiences discontinuities in time or consciousness even if the conscious is continuous in real time.

Another type or version of immortality is repetitive immortality. This is where there is repetition of all or part of a awarepath or conscious life of a person. For instance, This life that you are experiencing now might be the millionth time that you have experience your life and you would never know it unless there is a consciousness produced in your brain by a change in the structure and functioning of your brain that gives you a memory or experience of this feeling of repetition or de je vu.

Enhanced immortality is where the structure and functioning of the brain is enhanced from where it is now. there are many more enhanced version of a person than there are normal versions of a persons. This is because an enhanced consciousness will usually be produced by an enhanced structure and functioning of a brain that will usually be more complex thus there will be more ways for it to function thus more different consciousnesses produced. Enhaidentireplicas are itobodies that can produces enhanced immortality.
