The greater good
The greater good that superimmortality proposed can be stated by three concepts the quality quantity and enhancement of consciousness. There are better and worse awarepaths that an ixperiencitness can experience. The first greater good is to increase the quality of consciousness that a person experiences in his many different lives. This means producing more structures and functioning of matter that are positive in one or more ways and less that are negative. It is possible that painful experiences have value in many different ways and they should not be eliminated from a person experiences. But maybe reducing the number of experiences a person never wants to experience again has value. And increasing the number of wonderful experiences make conscious existence more desirable.
With the current evidence that we have conscious life in the universe is not common. This means that most solar systems in the universe do not have conscious life forms as advanced as humans are. However, the universe seems able to support many more conscious life forms because there is endless space, abundant numbers of stars for energy sources and then a supply of matter around each star that can be used to produce endless amount of different conscious lives. Maybe the most important thing that this universe has is the existence of potential physapaths with the ability to understand itself and reproduce consciousness in many different forms in many different places.
Physapaths can be enhanced thus awarepaths can be enhanced. What makes superimmortality so important is the prediction that consciousness can be enhanced and still have the same ixperiencitness. This means that we can advance as a society spreading conscious life through out the universe where it does not already exist and you the original, but as an enhanced consciousness, will still be there to experience these amazing adventures.
We have to go beyond the concept of the selfish body and the self as only a singular body and replace this with the concept of the unselfish ixperiencitness. The ixperiencitness concept is not selfish even though individual awarepaths within an ixperiencitness grouping of consciousness can be very selfish. If you know that you can exist in other bodies experiencing many different things you are much more likely to work toward a future for all of the positive (desirable) conscious versions of yourself rather than just caring about your current body and the consciousness it produces.
Ixperiencitness projection is the concept that the ixperiencitness of a person can be enhanced. There are more enhanced consciousnesses (enhawarepaths) that a person has the potential to experience than there are un-enhanced versions that they can experience.
Lets say your current conscious perspective does not want to exist beyond your current body, maybe you are in endless pain, scared of life, or very depressed and can't see how you can escape from what you consider a life not worth living other than through permanent conscious annihilation. This does not mean that all conscious versions of you have or will have this negative experience with conscious existence. These other versions of you can understand your resistance to want in to live longer or after death and they can work toward you never having to experience this unhappy existence again
