An itofazpath can be defined as having a beginning and an ending. An oriphysipath can be considered a human body over time. It is born and eventually dies. To begin with it is enhanced. For instance, it get bigger and the consciousness that it produces becomes more developed. Ater a point there is little over all enhancement. There is change in the body and in the consciousness but most characteristics are maintained without enhancement or degradation until latter in life when old age sets in and the body starts degrading. For instance, more neurons start dying without replacement. Injuries are not repaired as fast. Eventually cognitive abilities are at a lower level of functioning.
Most scientifically based theories about conscious existence predicts that upon death, that is the permeant end to conscious existence for that person. That is true unless you can make that person come back to life again. There are other non scientific theories that predict the existence of a soul that can exist after death and re-inhabit another body and then continue the life or conscious existence of that previous person.
The creator of Awaretheory has found that the language that is used by these thinkers is not sufficient to actually understand what is happening in the case of conscious existence over time and space. There is the assumption that the same person will actually be experiencing the consciousness produced by the person's body over time. But what if there is a drastic change in the brains structure and functioning so that the same body now is behaving like some one totally different where he has a totally different personality, memories, and belief who he is. By the definition he is the same person, but now has a very different conscious existence. So with a different definition of person (as a continuation of a consciousness) he is a different person.
The question that has to be asked is what is a way to express if two different people experience the same consciousness or conscious existence for a period of time? There really was no term until now for consciousness over time. Awaretheory calls consciousness over time the awarepath. Now you can ask the specific question "do two different persons have the same awarepath?".
We still need another term that there is no term in the english language for. The term awaretheory developed is ixperiencitness. If I experience a consciousness then it is conscious existence for me. You might say that this sentence is using two singular terms "I" and "me" that is based on the concept of a person. What do these terms mean if they are not connected to a specific body or a person? This in a way shows how we are tied to the concept of "you" as a physical body even though you are actually for yourself a consciousness. Actually you are a large amount of different consciousnesses. What you experience now is only a small part of your total self.
Extending the itofazpath means extending and dealing with extending the ixperiencitness of the original person depending on the type of fazpath being considered. Extending the oriphysipath means extending the original's body. Extending the oriawarepath means extending the original's consciousness. When we are talking about extending the original's consciousness we are talking about extending a consciousness that has the original's ixperiencitness. Extending the oriepipath means knowledge about these extensions. When we are talking about extending the oriphysapath we are not necessary extending the original's body but a or any body that has the same structure and functioning that produces the same ixperiencitness that the original had or even still has.
