Its a replica of me bias argument

From Aware Theory

There are many different kinds of replicas of an object. Some are very superficial as in the original and replica look somewhat alike to every possible aspect of the original and replica are identical. The question is what is the purpose of a replica and will it serve this purpose? Superimmortality defines different kinds of replicas that have specific characteristics. The first kind of replica is a cidentireplica, it is an amalgam of the words "continuing identical replica". It is not just a replica but a replica that is continuing to be identical over time. As the replica changes over time it changes in identical ways to that of the original. This type of replica does not have to have an identical environment, just an environment that produces the exact same changes as occurs to the original at the exact same times as it occurs to the original in the original's time line.

It if often said that a replica of me is not me. The fact that a cidentireplica of you is not the same person as what appears to be you is why superimmortality is such an important scientific theory. All of the important aspects of you can be produced in another body without having continuity and continuousness of any physical or supernatural object. A cidentireplica of an original will have the same identical conscious attributes as the original such as self identity, feelings, emotions, thoughts, dreams, desires, hates, fears, loves, memories, abilities, skills, feeling of placement in space and time, ixperiencitness, etc., if there is a conscious difference between the cidentireplica and the original it can not be distinguished from within or from outside. This is true by definition of cidentireplica. Not only is the cidentireplica identical to the original the original is identical to the cidentireplica. For the cidentireplica to believe it is not the original then the original would not think he was the original either. It would take the same information or structure and functioning of the brain to convince the original he was the cidentireplica as it would to convince the cidentireplica he was the cidentireplica. An external observer could observe that there were two different bodies and call one the original and know that the other was a cidentireplica of the original and keep track of each for every second yet if they were some how switched he could not know or determine for certain which was which. If there was any kind of physical me maker that distinguished them they would not be cidentireplicas of each other. It does not matter if they had different lives before this time period. It does not matter if they have different lives after this period of time, What matters is the cidentireplica's structural and functional identity during this time period. The cidentireplica is not the original or visa versa they are separate individual persons. They do not share a consciousness. They have different but identical consciousnesses produced at different places in time and space made of different matter. The important quality is that "you" experience both consciousnesses produced by both the original and the cidentireplica.

A replica of me is not me, but a cidentireplica of you is part of a greater you. Me is a singular term thus has a bias toward meaning a singular thing. You is used both as a singular term and as a plural term. What is the proof that the "me" can only be produced once? What is the proof that the "me" is tied to a continuity and or continuousness of a singular body that is constantly changing in placement in space and time, and the matter it is made of. By changing the structure and functioning of the brain one can create all of the conscious characteristics of any different person. Continuousness of the same body does not guarantee the perpetuation of the "me" because the same body can produce your neighbors conscious attributes by changing the structure and functioning of your body to being identical to that of your neighbor's.

If there is actually a "me" in the original that is not in the cidentireplica and visa versa, how can we find it, detach it, and switch it with the cidentireplica's "me"? What are the physical properties of the me? Or is it supernatural? If the "me" actually exists apart from the body then it is a supernatural soul. When someone suggests that the cidentireplica is not a case of another life of yours before death. They are also saying that it is not a case of life after death for either the original or cidentireplica if the other one dies. The cidentireplica still living after the death of the original, is the closest thing to life after death that an original can have.

If a cidentireplica of an original was made after the death of the original the cidentireplica would not care that he was a cidentireplica he would believe that he had achieved a life after death. Lets say that the original was killed in a car accident. The cidentireplica could have the memories of the accident and the moment of passing out (death) and then coming back to life again. The cidentireplica would be producing a continuity of consciousness with the original without continuousness through the original's matter.

If you restored the original back to its original structure and functioning it would not be called a cidentireplica. But lets say the original had parts destroyed in its body and there is a cidentireplica that can be used for parts. How much of the cidentireplica can be used and we still have the original me. What if there are a number of cidentireplicas and parts from all of them are used to restore the original. Lets say that on top of replacing the original set of body parts of the original, there is later needed more body parts to be replaced. What percentage of body parts can be replaced over what length of time and still have the original me?
