Assimilation speeds

What is assimilation speed and why is it important? There are two types of assimilation speeds; real and pseudo. Real assimilation speed is based on chemical reactions of changing atoms or molecules into different molecules. There exists a great deal of scientific research concerning this topic. Assimilation speed deals with how long it takes to change one form of matter into another or specifically the integration of new matter into a biological system. Pseudo assimilation maintains that there is something beyond chemical reaction speeds in biological systems that have to occur to maintain body identity, personal identity, conscious identity, and ixperiencit identity.
You cannot instantaneously replace the matter in a biological system with an identical biological system and have the same consciousness and ixperiencitness, according to pseudo assimilation of matter theory. What is their scientific reasoning for this? How do you predict what consciousness or ixperiencitness will be produced with instantaneous replacement?
Scientific Multiplicity based on the structure and functioning of matter or S&F has no problem predicting what consciousness or ixperiencitness will be produced with instantaneous replacement of matter or at any speed of replacement of matter.
Does different "pseudo" assimilation speeds produce different consciousnesses and ixperiencitnesses? How would you know this scientifically? How would you test this scientifically?
