Age of Awareness
More actions
There have been described many different ages of mankind. For instance, the stone age, the bronze age, the iron age, the industrial age, the information age, etc. What would we call the age of understanding of the ideas in awaretheory? Why should it be called anything? This era does not exist yet because very few people understand these ideas. And it seems even less are using them in their lives. Scientific advancement is leading us to these ideas. Thus, if mankind keeps advancing scientifically, some, many, or most of the ideas of awaretheory will be be eventually accepted as part of science. When this happens and the ideas are used, it will be a different age of mankind. Awaretheory gives knowledge and ability to do things that we could not do before. In the past up to now we have cared about the self as being the body. Experiencing a body is one aspect of consciousness. Awaretheory changes that by showing that what each of us actually are is a very large grouping of different consciousnesses that can be produced by a very large possible group of different bodies that can exist through space and time. This might not seem important unless you actually process in your mind what it means; there are many different ways for you to consciously exist during and after death and you can actually effect which versions of you get produced in the future. Considering that the fear of suffering and death is the basis for most religions and a tremendous amount of resources are spent on religions, awaretheory gives us a whole new awareness of ourselves and what we can and should do in the future. It seems that the age of awareness might be a good name. The age of enlightenment has already been used for the era that science was essentially reborn again.
Most people see themselves as a consciousness produced by a body. Some people see a necessary connection between the self and the body (when the body is permanently dead the self is permanently dead also). Others see that the consciousness that they experience is not necessarily connected to the body. Usually this disconnect of body from self is tied to a soul like concept. Awaretheory ties the self to the body through the functioning and structure of the body. It not the body that is important but the structure and functioning of the body that is important. Structure and functioning can be produce in other bodies so it is possible that the right structure and functioning can occur in other bodies. The question then is what are all of the structures and functioning of matter that will produce the same or close consciousness?
