It may be inevitable that we enhancement ourselves through science and technology in the future. We will likely do this for may positive reasons. There is likely no end to the amount of enhancement we can achieve in the near future. The question becomes will these super conscious beings be us or not? This means will we experience the consciousness that their bodies create? Currently, most people currently would say no. But the science actually point to the idea that superconscious beings can actually be conscious versions of you. A very interesting fact is that there are more super conscious versions of you than regular conscious versions of you.
