Specific brain/ specific mind argument for singularity

PaulEdwards [1] writes that a replica version of a person for creating reincarnation (life after death) does not work because "my mind depends on my body" not "my mind need some brain for its foundation." This is the Specific brain/ specific mind argument for singularity of conscious existence.
Consciousness or the mind is not dependent on a specific brain but a specific structure and functioning of a brain. This is a higher level of understanding about how consciousness is created than Edwards is using or understands in his book.
Paul Edwards also writes in his book "Reincarnation" "If my mind is finished when my brain dies, then it cannot transmigrate to any other body. Similarly, if god created a duplicate of my body containing a duplicate of my brain, my mind would not be able to make use of it since it stopped existing with the death of my original body."
The concept of S&F based multiplicity does not require any concept of transmigration [2] to connect consciousness or minds together What stopped with the death of the brain was the correct S&F of the brain. All that is required to recreate the original consciousness or mind is approximately the correct S&F. Why do we only need to approximately recreate the structure and functioning of the original to get the mind of the original? This is becasue at any point in your life many different structures and functionings' will produce a consciousness that you will expereince.
