Space exploration argument

People are not designed to exist in outer space without specially designed habitats. It is likely that conscious beings can be produced that would be like complex robots designed to exist in an airless, weightless, foodless, waterless, toxic, freezing, baking, high radiation, etc., environments. But people will often say that they want to experience space travel for themselves. They want to propagate themselves into and spread through out space. Mankind however, evolved to exist on earth. We have not evolved to live in empty outer space or on the many different material places that exist in space without taking an earth like environment to surround us.

The science of superimmortality predicts that not only conscious non biological beings can be produced but that these conscious beings can have human ixperiencitnesses. What this means is that you likely will be able to experience being a non biological conscious being like a rover or robot or any other nonbiological body type that would be useful in space exploration and settlement. An example of what you could experience is being in space without space suits or space habitats. Your whole body could be a space ship. Dangerous and or deadly situations would not be a problem either because according to superimmortality there can be many different conscious versions of you with the same ixperiencitness at the same time. If your body is damaged or destroyed it could be replaced with another body with your ixperiencitness and with the consciousness that existed before your body was destroyed. These non biological conscious versions of you can also be enhanced in many different ways to allow for new and enhanced abilities and skills to accomplish tasks that humans alone can not. We can thus make just about any environment in space our home without taking an earth like environment with us.

Why would these different types of conscious life forms that we create allow humans to survive when they are more suited for survival in the universe than human bodies are? There are many reasons why they will not destroy us.

First, they have the entire universe to exist in, they do not need to take the earth away from humans.
If all humans die out for what ever reason there will still be you experiencing being alive in these conscious beings because some of them will have your ixperiencitness or at the very least a percentage wise identical version of your ixperiencitness.
Since they can know that you and them have the same ixperiencitness, destroying humans for no good reasons would be destroying part of themselves.
There is only a limited amount of time that the earth will be a livable place for humans. Humans will die out on earth. But humans can develop on other planets in the universe naturally like they did on earth. It is likely that many of these other humans will have your ixperiencitness as well, thus you will experience conscious existence as a human like body again.
If there is a multiverse this just increases the possibility that there will be consciousnesses being created with your ixperiencitness.
You are superimmortal, humans are superimmortal, all conscious beings are superimmortal. No matter what ultimately happens, conscious death is not necessarily final.

We build machines that we control with our bodies. For the future of space travel, exploration, and settlement we have to build our conscious selves into machines that do not need an earth like environment to exist in. For the future of human like consciousnesses to exist through out space and time we have to build human ixperiencitnesses into many different biological and non biological body types that can exist easily in many different environments through out the universe.
