Neuro-connectivity experiments and the self

From Aware Theory

Neuro-connectivity experiments are experiments where identical functioning brains are connected to each other in different ways.

The brain is believed to be where consciousness is produced in the body We can imagine a neuropaducer where brains are keep alive and stimulated in any desired sequence of ways. Either two or more brain can be created that have identical structure and are functioning identically. Either in the process of creation or after creation they can be divided into two or more pieces connected to each piece of the same brain in such a way as to allow the individual neurons to be redirected.

The first experiment is where two identically structured and functioning brains are monitored to make sure they are producing identical human consciousnesses. They are split down the middle but still connected so that the structure and functioning stays identical for the duration of the experiment.

there will be billions of connections between the two halves of each brain What we are going to do is rewire one by one each connection that goes to one half of one brain to the other half of the other brain. Since they are functioning identically this should not produce a difference in the functioning of the brains. eventually all of one half of one brain will be connected to one half of the other brain and visa versa.

If there are two different me's before the process what happens to the me during and after the process? If as superimmortality predicts there are two identical me's before the process there will be two identical me's after the process. If like other predicts that there are two different me's before the process then there will what in the way of me's during and after the process?

Superimmortality is a simpler theory more scientifically understandable and technologically useful.
