Itomultiplicity paradox
More actions
The itomultiplicity paradox is that if I am actually someone else as well as my current real self why do I not experience their life like I am experiencing this moment, reading this sentence, Since I am not experiencing what they are, I am clearly not them. Consequently, since I am clearly not them nor they me, multiplicity is surely false! The paradox is how can the multiplicity of conscious existence be true when clearly it is false?
The multiplicity of ixperiencit existence is harder to prove than the multiplicity of conscious existence because there is no scientific requirement that two identical consciousness have the same ixperiencitness.
The real itomultiplicity paradox is a paradox with the multiplicity of ixperiencitness existence.
A counter argument is that the ixperiencitness of a person appears to cover more this very awaremoment. It may not cover a whole life time of a person but it usually covers many years worth of different awaremoments (an awaresection), of which you do not experience them all at once. The ixperiencitness has the property of covering more than a singular awaremoment. This concept is called the multiplicity postulate for ixperiencitness. You do not experience all the different awaremoemts that are contained in your awarepath at once. It seems that this same distinction should be able to occur simultaneously rather than just linearly.
An experimental example: You travel into the past and see yourselves. This person is clearly not you because of the Itomultiplicity paradox because you are not currently experiencing what he is experiencing and he is not experiencing exactly what you are experiencing. But, if he does not have your ixperiencitness from your current perspective, then he did not have your ixperiencitness in your past or future either. If he did not have your ixperiencitness then you did not experience the consciousness that he did, which means, that you did not consciously exist then. The same rational process can be applied to any point in your past including the past moment. This implies that you only consciously existed for an awaremoment. This is because only one awaremoment has your ixperiencitness connected to it. Since several awaremoments have transpired since you started reading this paragraph, your body no longer produces the same ixperiencitness as when you started this reading this paragraph. As a result, a number of different ixperiencitness have come and gone, Where did they come from where did they go. Since having the same ixperiencitness is the only necessary and the most important aspect in your survival for yourself, you would be essentially nonexistent if your ixperiencitness does not spread over a wide range of different actual and potential consciousnesses.
Consequently, what you are has to be more than what you experience at this moment. What you are is more than an awaremoment. if it applies to you then it applies to everyone else for the same reason.
You and every one else has to be more than just this awaremoment.
