Concept of multiplicity
More actions
The concept of multiplicity when applied to the science of superimmortality is that a self is actually not singular even though from most person's conscious perspective they appear to themselves to be consciously singular. This means that you believe that there can be only one body at a time producing a consciousness that you experience. In other words, there is no other body that will or can produce a consciousness that you can experience at the same time as you are experiencing this current conscious. Superimmortality predicts that identical to near identical structure and functioning in another body will produce an identical consciousness. However, most people believe that this other body, which is another person, is the one experiencing this consciousness not you because it is your body that is experiencing your consciousness, the other body even though it is producing identical consciousness to yours, you do not experience it because you are your body not the structure and functioning of your body.
