Singular you

A human body usually only produces a singular perspective on reality --- what you are experiencing right now, which is reading this sentence. Later you will be doing something different, your brain will be stimulated differently by your senses and you will consider this experience the present you. What you experience is constantly changing as your environment changes. What is changing, is in fact the way your brain is functioning. You may or may not know what is effecting the way your brain is functioning. There can be direct influences that are not coming from the senses. Various chemical like LSD and other environmental conditions like temperature and radiation do effect how the brain functions and thus the conscious it produces. At any moment there are many different things that can effect what you consciously experience but you appear to only experience one such path of consciousness even if sometimes that consciousness may seem multiple (about many different things) in some varied ways. Since you only experience this you believe this is all that there is to you at this time. You do not experience anything else so this is you.
The Ixperiencit theory of consciousness predicts that there can be and maybe is much more to your conscious you than this singular you. What this theory is based on is that there can also be other bodies that produce consciousnesses that you experience at the same or at other times. You do not have to be, and usually won't be aware of them from your limited "singular you" perspective.
