Conscious continuum

From Aware Theory

A conscious continuum is like a mathematical continuum. The usual mathematical continuum organizes numbers in such a way that the numbers that are most alike are closest together in the continuum. The second characteristic that the mathematical continuum has is that it contains all numbers, or at least all number of a certain type. A conscious continuum is a grouping of (consciousnesses), where the consciousnesses that are closest alike are closest together in the continuum. It also has the property of containing all possible consciousnesses or all the consciousnesses of a certain type.

Of course the continuum concept can be modified to contain specific types of information in different understandable and useful ways. So a conscious continuum could be limited to all human consciousnesses or human awaremoments, awarepaths or awarevenues. This kind of conscious continuum is called an awarecontinuum. There are other kinds of continuums that do not contain consciousnesses like a physicontinuum. What it contains is the physical attributes like structure and functioning that is necessary to produce the consciousness.

A type of awarecontinuum is a grouping of awarepaths. This can be itomapped to a physicontinuum made up of physipaths. So that each awarepath is mapped to all the versions of physipaths that produce the same awarepath. Or in simpler terms a mapping of bodies to consciousnesses.
