CST stands for Cyclic singular soul theories of immortality. These theories are based on different versions of reincarnation. Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, Taoism, and Hinduism are religions that use reincarnation in their belief systems to produce a theory of immortality. Consciousness nor the body is of much importance in this type of theory of life after death. This is because the body is changing so much from one reincarnation to the next, even into other animals that there is no specific body that belongs to you. And there is little remembrance of past consciousnesses in each new reincarnation. If you were a fly in a past life, you have no consciousness of being that fly or what it was like being that fly.
Other general theories of immorality are: SST, MMT, NST, and SMT,
SST: Singular soul theories. indefinite consciousness existence, dependent on supernatural beings.
SMT: Singular materialist theories. finite conscious existence
NST: No soul -- no self, supernatural entity theory, exists only in the awaremoment
MMT: Multiple materialist theory.
There are many different types of MMT theories. For more information see itoprinciples, itoexperiments, itoarguments, itoevidence, itoproofs and itoanalogies.
