Arguments for life after death
The whole science psychexistology is an argument for life after death based on many sub arguments for life after death. Many of the itoexperiments show direct evidence of life after death. If there is not life after death under the specific conditions of the experiments then there is incoherence and incompatibility with our current scientific understanding of our reality.
Thinkers have been confused about what is necessary for life after death to occur.
For life after death for you to occur, you have to consciously experience something after death. I know intuitively that I am experiencing something now. I also have some idea what it is like not to experience something. For instance, when you wake up and have no sense of being conscious for a period of time before while asleep. But just because you are not aware of something does not mean that it did not consciously occur for you. It just means that you do not have the present experience or are currently having memories some how related to this experience.
What we know currently about consciousness is that the brain through it's functioning produces consciousness.
If the structure and functioning of another human body is close enough to the structure and functioning of your body then the behaviors of the two bodies will be the same.
We do not need to do the experiment to know that this is true. It is true by definition. If it is not true then the structure and functioning is not close enough alike. It however does not have to be identical. This is because small changes in a functioning and or structure can cancel each other out.
Science does not accept the existence of a soul or the equivalent. This is not because scientists would not like to find a soul. Many have looked for one but not one scientist has actually found a real soul, even though some have thought and wished that they have.
If a person uniqueness is not produced by a soul or equivalent what is producing this uniqueness which I will call a person's ixperiencitness. pronounced "I experience it ness"? What we want in life after death is that we experience a life after death. If you do not experience any thing after death there is no life after death for you.
It turns out that life after death does not require a soul or the equivalent to actually exist. In fact the existence of a soul poses all sorts of problems for life after death. This is because a soul may not survive the death of the body. Wishful thinking does not make the soul immortal or even exist before or after death.
Structure and functioning of a brain in a human body, although very complex, is something that can be studied and is produced frequently by humans in ofsprings.
Reproducing the Structure and functioning of a brain and body reproduces behavior that people would think is the actual original person. If there is created a continuing exact functioning copy cidentireplica of an original person it will behave just like the original person and be able to replace the original in all ways.
Will the cidentireplica be conscious? We have no reason to think that it would not be conscious, assuming the the original is conscious. We have no reason to believe that the cidentireplica does not have the exact same consciousness as does the original because any amount of extensive tests will always show identical consciousnesses. But this does not necessary means that the cidentireplica has the same ixperiencitness as the original.
Why should the cidentireplica have an ixperiencitness different from that of the original? If the first cidentireplica has a different ixperiencitness than the original what will the second cidentireplica have? Will it have the same ixperiencitness as the original or the first cidentireplica? Eventually it seems there would be able to find a cidentireplica that has the ixperiencitness as the original or other cidentireplica. If so then there has to be some thing alike in the two that was not alike in the others difference in
If the duplication of the consciousness in the first place does not duplicate the ixperiencitness, then ixperiencitness has one or more properties different from consciousness. If you duplicate those extra properties and the original conscious properties you will duplicate the ixperiencitness. Actually, ixperiencitness properties are not extra properties that have to be added to conscious properties to produce a conscious you experience but just properties of consciousness itself.
If there is a cosmic law with the requirement that there can never be two or more cidentireplicas that have the same ixperiencitness, then what is the scientific explanation of this, since every material property that has existed can exist again if the conditions that produced this property, in the first place, are duplicated.
Material or physical things have something in common; if it is created in the first place it can be created again.
The big objection to this is that people say that they would not experience what the cidentireplica is experiencing. Since the experiences are identical they would in fact be experiencing exactly what the cidentireplica is experiencing.
The second objection is that there is no possible way to make an cidentireplica of any person, and even less of a possibility of making a cidentireplica of you. There is always the possibility that there will be a cidentireplica of someone some time in the universe but this possibility you but if this was all that we have for life after death you will not experience life after death
