Transhumanism

What transhumainists do not realize is the conscious beings are already superimmortal. Transhumainists strive for body immortality where as they already have ixperiencitness immortality. Superimmortality is a variable thing for each person. Superimmortality defines you as all of the different structures and functioning of matter that will produce a consciousness that has or produce your ixperiencitness. In other words you are what you currently are and can consciously experience. You are not what you can not consciously experience. What you can and can not consciously experience is based not on a body or supernatural soul or equivalent, but the structure and functioning of matter.

Transhumanism sees a transformation of society to a state of high technology and human enhancement. Living is such a reality is just one of the different lives that superimmortality predicts a person can experience. This type of immortality limits the amount of new people that can exist on earth and the amount and diversity of conscious lives that they can experience.

Most transhumanists, if they are honest with themselves, realize that science and technology is not likely to make them immortal in their life times. But the hope for them is that they can take steps to make this possible for people in the future through the support and pursuit of science and technology now and into the future. Human's superimmortality will also benefit from the pursuit of scientific knowledge by making it more likely that one or more of the structure and functioning of matter that will produce a consciousness that they experience will be created and recreated.
