A programable neuron replacement device or PNRD is an electronic device that can behave like a neuron, but is also externally programable to change how it functions. When these devices are made they are more likely to contain many different PNRDs in a unit than as singular devices.

An awarepaducer made of PNRDs would be called an isoawarepaducer. A conscious being made from PNRDs can be called an isoidentireplica.
