What do religions actually offer? --- Hope with out proof!
You hope there is a god.
You hope he has the power to return you to conscious existence after death.
You hope he will return you to conscious existence again after death.
You hope that this god is nice and caring and not cruel spending you to hellish worlds for his enjoyment for not being a sycophant.
You hope that this god will want to be with you forever especially since you are a relatively stinky dumb boring animal. When in fact he could make conscious beings so much smarter and beautiful than us to live through eternity with.
