People and organizations have said that one of the most important, if not the most important questions that we can ask is: “Can we and do we experience anything after death?”. A positive answer leads us to ask two major further questions --- What can or will this be like? Can we do anything to influence what we will experience? This article is a short introduction to The science of conscious existence, identity, and immortality that answers these questions. This science like all sciences is based on experimentation, our interconnected web of scientific knowledge, and rational and logical thought. combining the three into a comprehensive, useful, positive, predictive and explanatory scientific belief system.

Identical structure and functioning produces identical consciousness. You are to your self not a person but a consciousness about a person's life-- consciousness about your consciousness. Other people to each other are consciousness about bodies and behaviors not consciousness about the actual consciousness that these people are experiencing. If you are consciousness then when that consciousness is produced --- exists, you exist. There are a number of consciousness that you have or will experience. There are a number of different consciousness that if they would have been produced you would have experienced them.

I can not be in two places at once argument for not accepting simultaneous multiplicity of self. What experiences and or experiments would it take to believe multiplicity? You can believe in multiplicity with out experiencing it directly because of all the indirect rational scientific evidence for it. “I say that the duplicated person is no more me than any other person is because I cannot be in two places at once”. The singular perspective is one of many different perspectives that is part of a person's potential awarevenue but there are many other perspectives that include direct experience or experimental evidence for multiplicity. The singular perspective has survival benefit for the human awarepaducer. But for society the belief in multiplicity has many advantages.

The concept of simultaneous multiplicity of self is that if you experience a consciousness and the exact same consciousness produced at the same time, you can and will experience it exactly the same way too. The concept of simultaneous multiplicity of self is the concept that you are more than a singular linear consciousness or perspective of a reality. It can also be looked at as your awaremoment is just part of a greater potential awarevenue.

You have a responsibility to all the versions of your self to take care of your self and have a decent life. You also have a responsibility to make this world a better place for future versions of your self. Because other people that exist at the same time could be versions of you or loved ones or version of loved ones you have a responsibility to make their lives good as possible. This means solving problems and working toward make the consciousnesses better not worse. This means the support and pursuit of mathematical, scientific and technical knowledge for the solutions to problems. This means spreading these ideas. Taking and using the best parts of previous belief systems and eliminating the bad parts with the goal of making the world and people lives better. Since these ideas will eventually be universal through out the universe with advanced civilizations, these ideas will tie all consciousness together.
