Religions effect the awarepaths of conscious beings in many different ways. Some people say they are religious when they are not. Some people say they are religious when they do not understand the religion they profess to be aligned with or believe in. Some people are religious just to fit in and be accept by society or a local group of people. Religions can be socially oriented to help people in need or want of social interaction. There can be any number of religions and many different ways that religions can effect each consciousness. It is possible that what one person believes in is actually a different religion than they think that they are believing in. Religions have a tendency to change over time.
