Structure and functioning of a body

The term "structure of a body" can have various meanings. A simple meaning is the way the body looks like from an external perspective. For the purpose of the science of superimmortality it means the structure of all of the parts and sub parts of the body in all way down to atoms and even smaller parts when these smaller structural parts effect the way the body ends up functioning. If a body is frozen at absolute zero it is not changing much over time. As a result we have a body that has structure but no large scale functioning. The way a body is at any one time is its structure at that time. As a body functions its structure changes. One type of change is cycling of the body part or molecule. This means going through a sequence of steps of change, where at the end of the sequence of steps, the structure is the same as at the beginning of the sequence. Neurons cycle through firing and then recharging themselves but how they are connected to the other neurons and their shape does not have to change but frequently does nonetheless.
