Repetition arguments for superimmortality

From Aware Theory

Repetition arguments for superimmortality are arguments based on repetition experiments, coherence with science, and rational thinking that support the principles of superimmortality.

Repetition principles that superimmortality predicts are true:

  1. 1 Repeating the physaspace produced by any set of bodies will repeat the awarespace and ixpespace produced by those bodies.

If there is something beyond the physical then repetition would not be possible, there would be a progression of the personality with the progression of time but there is no progression of the personality or experiences based on what has happened before to the body

I am what I am now because of what my body has experienced and cannot be changed

repeating different sections of the physapath in different sequences

repetition of the structure and functioning of a previous part of a person physapath

You are not tied to what has experientially and sequentially happened to your body. The conscious you are tied to what has happened physically to your body specifically the brain. All of the experiences are gone with the changes in the physical structure of the brain and can be replaced when the structure is returned to the way it was.

Superimmortality is predictive for repetition experiments. No matter what has happened to the body or the experiences it has had what matters for the consciousness produced is the structure and the functioning of the brain at this moment in time.

simple, explains results repetition experiments, predicts results of repetition experiments, coherent predictions and explanations are coherent with science, no supernatural concepts are used. Results of repetition experiments counter the belief that what you are at every moment is a singular, unique, individual non repeatable, non material something like a soul that maintains the self

The current conscious you is gone with many certain changes in your bodies structure and functioning that does not ever have to exist again. This is shown to be true by the behavior of having no concept of the future events that have happened to the person
