Ixperiencit theory of survival and immortality

Simply stated If I experience the conscious produced by the body or what ever produces the consciousness it is survival for me.

Consider taking a person George for instance and change the structure and functioning of his body so that it now has the structure and functioning of a entirely different person lets say Larry. We do this with out replacing any of the matter in George. We do it gradually so that this person is continuously alive and conscious except for sleep or the like. He is the same physical person as George was because he contains all the matter that john was made of. He is psychologically and physically continuous with george. He is the closest continuer to george. If you believe in dualism he has the same soul or dualistic aspect as george. So for most theories of personal identity he is George. You started at one point on George’s physipath and ended at one point on John’s physipath. Who is it a case of survival for George, John or someone else? If you asked this person at the beginning of this transition he would say that he was George. He would have all the memories that George has at that point in George’s life. He would know nothing about John. He would behave like George not John. He has George’s consciousness. At the end of the transformation he would say that he was John with all the memories and abilities that john has at that point in John’s life. He would know nothing about George like his memories emotions etc.. All of this would be gone with the change in structure and functioning of the body. He is not the closest continuer for John nor is he physically or psychologically continuous with John. But for cases of survival and immortality he is John. It does not matter if the original John is still alive or not. Since he is the closest continuer of george is made of the same matter as george is physically and psychologically continuous with george most theories of the personal identity would say that he is george but if given the I experience it test he is john.

How can this be a case of psychological continuousness when there is such a large transformation in consciousness. You can loose and change memories, abilities, and appearance, naturally over time. So if change is forced from directed external sources with advanced technology it can be much faster. Do the states in between have to be rational. This means can the person be insane at point between the two points yes but since there are many different ways to change the body there are probably many paths that do not include any insanity. And since a person is asleep part of the time the change during these times can be the most dramatic. What happened to all the memories of the george? Shouldn’t they still be in john? Since the memories are a function of the structure of the brain and how it is currently functioning and not some property of matter imprintation there are no more memories of george in john.

It is supposed to be a logical truth that a person is singular, what is the scientific proof of this? In philosophical arguments if you are a replica you are not the same person especially if the originals still alive but this does not mean that you are not a case survival for the original.

If (Ixperiencit) I experience a consciousness produced by anything it is survival for me. If (uxperiencit) you experience a consciousness produced by anything it is survival for you. This is the Ixperiencit test for personal survival. There is not just one consciousness or point on an awarepath that you will experience if it is created. The ixperiencit is an intuitive concept
