Incoherent reality

From Aware Theory

An incoherent reality does not make sense, or does not make sense much of the time. The things that you think you know do not fit with the other things that you know. In an incoherent reality things are hard to predict. When a process is repeated (exactly) the results can be very different. Written material frequently contradict itself as does what people say. But this does not mean it is an incoherent reality. Complexity can seem incoherent until the controlling factors are understood. For instance, if you measure a rod of a steel and then remeasure it later and the same rod is a different length it can seem incoherent until you understand that matter can expand or contract when its temperature changes.
