Aware Theory:General disclaimer This web site is not complete. It has not been well edited yet. There are thousands of terms that have not been defined yet. The equations and the syntax of the equation are incomplete. The most of the equations and symbolic representation of ideas have to be verbally defined or better defined. The diagrams are incomplete and not verbally explained as well as they should be. The fictional stories meant to help in the understanding of these ideas have only barely been started. But the ideas presented are extremely important. If these ideas are superseded in the future it will not be with the same old ideas but with even better ideas that are based on these ideas, or the incompleteness of these ideas, or the rational realization that there are much better theories than these ideas produce, whose creation will be possibly stimulated by thinking about these ideas, that are so far incompletely presented in the awaretheory.com web site.

If nothing else the ixperiencitness concept helps us out of the trap of not having the right terms to ask the right questions about the continuation of conscious existence into the future. Is a replica of the original the same person as the original? The answer is "No!" by the definition of person. This is the argument that is frequently used to tie a person to his body and thus a person's conscious existence to a body and when the body of this person dies so does his conscious existence end permanently. This is a deductive argument that gives us no more knowledge than we had to begin with. But if we ask the question Does a specific replica of the original have the same ixperiencitness as the original? the answer is not necessarily by definition no. Then we can go on to ask the question under what conditions will a replica have the same ixperiencitness as the original. This now becomes a scientific question that can be experimentally verified. You cannot make the question "Under what circumstance will a replica be the same person as the original?" have scientific (experimental) meaning because a replica will never be the same person as the original, unless you change the definition of person to mean something different than a body like a soul. Of course this does not work because the soul is not the body which a person by definition is.

It has only been in the past hundred years or so that we have started to understand enough about the brain to realize that its structure is really complex enough to be the actual source of our consciousness through it's functioning. Consequently, the structure and functioning of the brain is what produces all the different consciousnesses that we all experience. It is what ties us together from one moment to the next and from any time in our lives to any other time in our lives. What we are made of, where we are, at and the time that we exist in, are peripheral factors in our existence. what is important in each person's past, present, and future conscious existence is the structures and functionings of matter that were, are, and will be produced, either randomly or on purpose.

You are more than what you are now, you are all the different consciousnesses produced by an extremely large amount of different structures and functionings of different potential and actual bodies that have or produce the same ixperiencitness as you have. How is it possible that other bodies can exist in the present with a consciousness that I do not experience now but actually be a conscious version of me? This can be understood in the same way that you will not appear to your present conscious self to be experiencing what you will be experiencing in the future or have experienced in the past. For example, Imagine traveling into the past and seeing yourself a year ago, you will not be presently be experiencing what this past version of yourself is experiencing but nonetheless it is you experiencing it, but from your present conscious view point you are not experiencing it. The past conscious version of you will not be experiencing what your current conscious version of you is experiencing either. If you did not know that this person was actually you in the past, you would not feel any conscious connection to it. You would not know that if you hurt or helped this past version of yourself, you would be hurting or helping yourself. So any current version of yourself you would not likely know of their existence. Now look at the situation from this past versions of your self. He would not be experiencing what you are presently experiencing so he would think that you were not a version of himself either. It is a valid question to ask are these past and future versions of you actually you, which means do they have your ixperiencitness?

Warning the understanding of these ideas can change your view of yourself, other conscious beings, and reality in many positive ways!
