Conscious perspective analogy
More actions
Imagine a camera panning around on an object, such a building. You could start at any point in your recording such as a door or window or a squashed bug spot on the wall. From there you can go anywhere around the building in any path you wish. You can look at the very small aspects of the building or the building as a whole. You can see the building from different points of perspectives or with different lighting configurations. The recording or film can go for a short time or ever eventually repeating previous views. There are numerous ways to edit together the different sections of recordings. You could put all of the different recordings together and play them at the same time. Like a TV screen with multitudes of simultaneous scenes being shown at once. There could also be many recording devices taping at the same time.
The analogy is that what you really are is all the possible perspectives of that object in this case the building or the awarevenue in terms of consciousness. The awaremoment is like a picture of the building. The awarepath is like motion picture. and the awarevenue is like all possible motion pictures that can be made of the building. The awarecontinuum is like all the possible movies about all the possible different objects and combinations of objects.
Nonexistent theories of conscious existence tie a person to the present awaremoment only. Singular theories of conscious existence tie you to an awarepath. Multiple theories of conscious existence tie you to an awarevenue. And the universal theory of conscious existence tie you to the awarecontinuum.
Another analogy of an identical consciousness is not like an object but like a color that can be part of many different objects. So you can have red balls, red houses, and red fish. You can have identical consciousness produced by many different separate bodies.
