Coherence arguments are showing that the ideas in a theory do not contradict each other, or the rest of the belief system. Plus if the theory is scientific then it does not contradict science and mathematics or any scientific experiments.

Coherence with science The theory is based on science, and does not contradict well established scientific fact and theory based on carefully done experiments.

Coherence with mathematics The new mathematics in the theory does not contradict pre-established mathematics

Inter theory coherence Parts of the theory do not contradict other parts of the theory.

Principle coherence: The principles in the theory do not contradict each other.

Equation coherence: The equations in the theory do not contradict each other.

Experiment coherence: The results of the experiments in the theory do not contradict the theory or the results of other experiments in the theory.
