The difference between a singular view of the multiplicity of consciousness and the full multiple view-- is: When you look at the world through a singular perspective which you do, you try to understand why if you really experience other awaremoments at the same time, why will it be that you in fact do not or will not experience these other awaremoments if they are really you? This is where singularity comes from the limited perspective of the awaremoment. The actual awaremoment is always changing so every awaremoment that you will or have experienced is a variation on the current awaremoment’s perspective perspectives that you do not experience presently. Your current perspective may have an outline of these previous perspectives but it is not the same as those awaremoment. Nor will future moments be like what we imagine they will be. But our ability to construct what did happen, and from that, what will happen, the future allows us to change our behavior to achieve what we believe are better future experiences.
The true multiple perspective is that there is a lot more to experience than the singular awaremoment that you are experiencing now. You actually do experience every version of your self at the same time one perspective can influence another perspective for the better or worse. They can positively or negatively interact all these interactions are part of the potential. But what you think may or may not be a version of you is to you part of your sensepath and thus createable in many different ways.
The potential is the object the actual is the changing perspective on that object. So if we take the place that you live now as the object or potential and take the actual picture at each moment a camcorder is recording as the actual awaremoment we can imagine the many different ways that the camcorder could record your house.
Chapter 3 Ori/Citoprinciples introduction
Principle of relativity of the original: relativity of the original principle Any person or other consciousness being can be considered or treated as the original. Even if they are a cidentireplica of the original that is produced later in time by different means and ways. This principle is a symmetry concept that allows us to change the perspective.
The I experience it test
The “I experience it” or (ixperiencit -- pronounced the same) test, is a test used to determine what consciousness belongs to the original and what consciousness belongs to another conscious being. It is a simple test. Simply stated do I the original experience this consciousness in question? If so it is my consciousness and if not it is someone else's consciousness. As you read this book you should be able to say that you are experiencing your consciousness meaning you are experiencing something. If not, you may have no clue what I am talking about because it is an intuitive concept. I am not saying that you have to be the one that experiencing existing in what appears to be your body. When I say that two consciousness are identical they also pass the Ixperiencit Test. If two consciousness are identical they have the same ixperiencit. For survival of death and immortality purposes, you do not have to have the same memories, personality, feelings, emotions, behavior etc, but you have to be experiencing what ever is there to experience, or be conscious of something. Bodies may vary, consciousness may vary, but if you do not experience anything ever again you have not survived death and are not immortal -- for you death is final. I admit the “I” in “I experience it” is not necessarily well defined objectively because it is part of a continuum, but can be intuitively -- subjectively understood like a point or line is in geometry. This is really the basis for care about one’s self. I can wake up and have no memories of a past but if I experience life from this point on I will still exist. This is what we want for life. If you do not experience it -- (something) you will not exist at that time, Your existence subjectively is dependent on you experiencing it. You simply would not be aware of life, the world, other people, anything, etc. if you did not experience or were conscious of them.
Ixperiencit principle
A consciousness is yours if you experience it. It does not have to have any particular mental aspect except that you experience it. On the other hand if you do not experience a consciousness it is not yours. You do not have to experience all consciousnesses that are yours from one current perspective to be your consciousness. This can be seen when we look at a person over time. He does not sense through or control his future or past body. A person only senses and controls one point in time in his life. Every other stage would seem like someone else from your current perspective. An example if you were to go back in time and observe some aspect of your life you would see a person that you could not control and you would not be sensing what he is sensing. Yet this person is you in the past. You are not experiencing what you did even a short time ago. The identireplica theory would not even need the ixperiencit concept except some people might say that someone has identical consciousnesses but they are still not the same person for survival of death or immortality purposes, but they are you if you experience it. They are you if they have an identical consciousness to yours.
If I experience it, it is survival for me. It does not have to be a continuation of any body, consciousness, person, or soul like property to be survival for me. How do I know that I am surviving right now it is because I am experiencing something now. The problem that thinkers have encountered is that for understanding survival, life after death, immortality etc. They tied it to the same body, consciousness, or soul, and then made the assumption of singularity of self. What is the proof of singularity of self? -- It is just so obvious that it is not even questioned that we might possibility be multiple and not singular. Replicas can not be you because there can not be two of you at the same time. There is nothing that says that a replica can not have the same ixperiencit as the original under the correct conditions. The real problem stems from the external perspective that makes a person seem singular and tied to the body. And from the fact that we see from one perspective and we think that everyone else sees from a different perspective because they are in a different place and or time thus a different sensepath. ?The soul has been developed to explain some aspects of dreams, out of body experiences and thoughts that seem to disconnect the self from the body. With this disconnection comes a seemly rational foundation for the desired ability to have a life after death and immortality.
Perspective analogy
Concept of conscious existence
Case of consciousness existence
CCE(y) A case of consciousness existence for you singular. CCE(Y) A case of consciousness existence for you plural. CPCE(y)A case of partial consciousness existence for you singular. CPCE(Y)A case of partial consciousness existence for you plural.
CBE(y) A case of body existence for you singular. CSE(y) A case of soul existence for you singular.
Consciousness is an emergent property of the functioning of matter. Consciousness is an emergent result of the functioning of matter. Consciousness is an emergent consequence of the interrelated functioning of matter.
We have no evidence of a soul we have no need of a soul for survival of death and immortality.
A body is not your body unless it produces your consciousness The body that you are conscious of may not be the body that produces your consciousness.
Having a soul forever but not being conscious is no better than being dead forever. Having a live body forever but not ever being conscious is no better than being dead forever. Your existence is not dependent on a soul or body but on consciousness that you experience.
Case of soul existence with out conscious existence
Case of body existence with out conscious existence
The concept of Cases of conscious existence and conscious survival
Cases of body existence and survival.
Simultaneous independent experience is possible for all theories, what is different with the MMT is that
Simultaneous independent identical experience Simultaneous independent variant (varied) experience There is much more to all of us than just the actual awaremoment that we currently experience or the awarepath that is formed from the concatenation of the actual awaremoments you experience
EXPERIMENTS WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF ORIGINALS AND CIDENTIREPLICAS
A number of experiments that I will describe will have a general grouping structure of many possible closely related experiments. This means that many different possible experiments will be grouped together and called an experiment set because they relate to basically the same consciousness related concept. We will usually consider only one experiment per set. In this chapter we introduce a number of new words, each deals with a prediction, principle or property of originals and cidentireplicas. The first three letters of the word original -- “ori” will be the prefix for these terms ori prediction, oriprinciple and oriproperty. In the case of cidentireplicas we will use the prefix cito, from the letter c from cidentireplica and the letters i-t-o, since they are a consequence of the identireplica theory of consciousness. Together the letter “c” and “ito” make “cito” which is the prefix for these principles, predictions, and properties about cidentireplicas or citoprinciples, citopredictions, and citoproperties. The experiments dealing with originals in this chapter can be broken down into these categories: orispace, orimaterality, orimultiplicity, oritime, and a combination of the preceding concepts. The experiments dealing with cidentireplicas in this chapter can be broken down into these categories: citomaterality, citotime, citospace, citomultiplicity, and a combination of the preceding concepts. All the “Ori” experiments and principles apply to cidentireplicas when they are looked at as an original. Cito experiments and principles apply to the relation that the cidentireplica has to that of the original in terms of consciousness and the ixperiencit concept. Some ori principles might seem trivial but they are all included for uniformity and clarity
Types of theories two major groups Versions of multiple versus singular you theories and materialistic versus materialistic plus theories. A materialist theory is a natural scientific theory and a materialist plus theory is one where there are other supernatural factors like a soul. On the extreme side of is pure idealism where no matter at all exists we are just pure thought. Acronyms for different types of theories that we will compare differences to.
SST: Singular soul theories. Many religions like jewish christian islam are centered on these type of ideas. CST: Cyclic singular soul theories. Reincarnation hindu like religions SMT: Singular materialist theories. Most enlightened (secular) theory based on science and rationality but has a confused limited perspective on consciousness. NST: No soul -- no self theory there is consciousness but not unique soul or self. Buddhism is in this category. This is the opposite conclusion as MMT theories. This comes about as a result of the problems with SST and SMT theories. Consciousness is not any unique aspect tied to just one person so there is really no such thing as a unique self or soul. MMT: Multiple materialist theory. There are different multiple materialist theories depending on which grouping of principles apply to a space/ time/matter or universal physical laws.
At he very least we are a version of a multiple theory because of the concepts of multiactual and multipotential. -- a multiple theory proof
=
SST: CST: NST: SMT: MMT:
LMT: stands for the limited materialist theory BT: stand for the buddhist theory there really is no self this is the opposite of the multiple identity theory. MMIT: multiple materialist Identity theory MIMT: multiple Identity materialist theory
Multi proof: There are two parts to the multi proof first that there is already multiprinciples that are true. And second we have a limited mental ability to see directly the other multiprinciples. We see the multiactual and multipotential better that the other animals do because of our greater intelligence or mental processing powers. Many animals live in the now -- the awaremoment ( the awaremoment with out awareness of the future or past ) never aware of a future or that there can be many different awaremoments . They respond now and have to live with the consequences with out ever being aware of the full range of these consequences they have and make limited choice -- that what we decide to do will effect what we will experience. As they can not see the multiactual and multipotential as well as we can we because of our limited mental capacities can not see all the other multiprinicples easily either.
Discussion of Subvariations of each concept
Under each concept are 6 variations not all will be included. They all have a relation to the original and to each other in terms of that concept. The six variations are the original, idoriginal, cidentireplica, coriginal, Icoriginal, and videntireplica,
Discussion of Subtopics of each variation
To make each principle more understandable they have been broken down each concept into 10 sub topics. Not all subtopics will be included all the time especially when it is redundant or trivial
Discussion: This subtopic introduces new ideas that need a further introduction and explanation.
Question(s): This subtopic purposes important questions introducing the concept There will be many question that will not be asked.
Definition: This subtopic defines the word.
Experiment set #: This subtopic shows some of the kinds of experiments that could be done or imagined dealing with the questions, the topic and how they can be accomplished.
Prediction(s)) /Difference in theories: This topic gives predictions that the MMT makes for the results of these experiments
Proof(s)/supporting evidence: This supplies other supporting evidence for the concept variation or refers to specific proofs or evidence given else where is the book
Principle of: This subtopic defines the principle variation in a more scientific way.
TCE, DMF Type of conscious existence, TCE, DMF/ immortality /Difference in theories: Each principle either influences or produces a different type of conscious existence; or potential form of immortality. These different types of immortality are usually different than other religions or belief systems these differences are compared and contrasted. Religions /Belief systems change over time so what may be true now might not be true for the religion latter when new ideas influence it. As a consequence what I say applies to a religion may not apply to every version of that belief system at the present time or later when the belief system/ religion changes.
Degrees of mortal freedom concept: DMF: The more degrees of mortal freedom, the more likely that a specific uxperiencit will be produced or repeated. Each itoconcept, if true for a universe, adds a degree of mortal freedom for each original.
CAM/VT analogy: Camcorder/ video tape analogy. This analogy is not perfect but it does give a mechanical example of what is going on with the different types of conscious existence and degrees of mortal freedom. Hopefully the analogy can be useful in understanding these ideas concepts.
Subjective (ixperiencit) example: For something to be a case of survival for a conscious being that being has to experience it. This subtopic tries to give a personal subjective view of what this other person is actually experiencing.
Why/how Important?: The importance to you, others, or socienty of this concept in true?
We will start our list of concepts with possibly the least controversial concepts, that maybe are ignored because of the fact that they are multiple
Orimultiactual
Discussion: The original is multiactual because he progresses through a series of actual different awaremoments through times. Our consciousness can see this multiactual nature of ourselves. Multiple different awaremoments through life. Individuality not singularity
Question(s):
Definition: Orimultiactual is the term for concept that the original awarepath is made of many different awaremoments one after the other.
Experiment set # Orimultiactual:
E. Type 1. To see that we do not have to experience everything that we are all at once, imagine making a time machine and traveling to the past and observing your self. You know that this person is you, you remember doing what he is doing. But you are not experiencing what he is experiencing. Not only can we imagine you viewing your past you can also imagine viewing your future self with out experiencing what your future self is experiencing there is also the multiple case where many points in your life come to view each other at the same time.
One might object that time machines are not possible for this very reason, or that time travel is physically impossible. It does point out that what you are experiencing now is clearly different than what you will be or have experienced.
E. Type 2. All consciousnesses can be tied together by a continuous body and a continuous consciousness -- the same person. The body changes through time, with the right external help a body with the same matter can be transformed into any other person’s structure and functioning, one small step at a time. Thus any other person consciousness can be produced. The matter that a body uses in life can be recycled so a smaller person can be transformed by into a larger person. This can be done in any sequence from person to person or from a point in one person life to any point in another person life.
Prediction(s)) /Difference in theories: BT: The buddhist theories see the multiactual nature of the self. Rather than accepting the multiplicity of self they get singularity in the end by saying that we become one with the singular universal consciousness for them we are not even one we are just a small part of the one. MMT: If any number of actual awaremoments of one originals awarepath exist at the same time the awaremoments will not change because of existing at the same time.
Proof(s)/supporting evidence: It is self evident that people are multiactual consciousnesses. has to be multiactual or it is a repeat of the same awarepoint or awaremoment over and over again.
Principle of Orimultiactual: The original is multiactual. Consciousness beings are multiactual.
Type of immortality , TCE, DMF/Difference in theories: With out this principle there is no conscious life like we know, only the repeat of the same awaremoment over and over again with out knowing that there is repetition. All theories accept this.
CAM/VT analogy Orimultiactual: The vhs tape plays along a sequence but only one point at a time. An example if people were not multi actual it would be the same picture and sound played continuously -- the same point on the vhs tape continuously played with out change.
Subjective (Ixperiencit) example: You are constantly experiencing the ever changing nature of your personal consciousness. You could be watched by a different awaresection (multi awaremoment) of your life reading this sentence. Or the converse you could be watching yourself while you read this sentence. Both would be you, both of you would experience a different actual awaremoment at the same time.
Why/how Important?: It shows the multiple nature of the original
Citomultiactual
Discussion: A cidentireplica can also see that he is multiactual through time.
Question(s):
Definition: Citomultiactual is the term for concept that cidentireplicas like originals are multiactual.
Experiment set #Citomultiactual:
Prediction(s))/Difference in theories:
Proof(s)/supporting evidence:
Principle of Citomultiactual: Cidentireplicas are multiactual.
Type of immortality, TCE, DMF /Difference in theories: For any singular theory any cidentireplica that exist at the same time as the original does, is not a case of survival or immortality for the original. If the original dies because it was not before the death it is still not after the death.

Subjective example:
Why/how Important?:
Orimultipostpotential
Discussion: The concept of multipostpotential is that there are many--multiple different potential physipaths / awarepaths, after the present actual awaremoment, that can apply to any conscious being.
Question(s): Are originals multipostpotential? --- Do we actually have the potential to experience something different than what we do or, if the conditions were different?
Definition: Orimultipostpotential is the term for the concept that for at every oriawaremoment there are numerous different future physipaths that could happen to the original. There are many possible future awarepaths for each original.
?Oripotentiality is the concept that conditions in the future may come together to produce an idoriginal. There is the possibility that the originals awarepath can exist in the future.
Experiment set #Orimultipostpotential: There are an extremely large amount of different sensepaths that can be applied to the original at any one time. As well as many different external sources of change that can be applied to the body as well. If these changes are large enough the awarepaths produced will be different. There are many experiments that the original can do himself to show this principle. You can make a list of all the possible different things that you can choose to do starting at any future point in your life. You can then act on any of them. You can also imagine all the things that can happen to you caused by an external source. Like a disease, earthquake, someone leaving your a lot of money, ingesting a mind changing drug, a friend coming over unexpectedly. Etc. Besides you deciding what you will do, you can let some one else make the decision of what will happen to you next. You can even randomize the process by letting a flit of a coin choose what you will do next. The key thing is will you actually experience all of these possible different experiences? Then all you have to do is report that you no longer experience this awarepath------ if you are in a coma you can not report anything. If you are someone else where does this other person come from? And how do you know that you are someone else? You have to believe that you are someone else, which means that you have to have some experience that makes you believe this, which means that you have some memory of this experience, eventually you just have the belief that you are different so different that you are some one else.
Prediction(s))/Difference in theories: There are an extremely large amount of different physipaths and awarepaths that can come out of any point on any original’s awarepath.
Proof(s)/supporting evidence: There are many factors that can effect how the body functions. And many different ways that the bodies structure can be changed at each instance each leading to a different awarepath that you will experience.
Introduce the concept of Imoriginal here? The Imoriginal establishes the oripotentiality for each original.
The Imoriginalvenue is a grouping of different imoriginals for each original. Imoriginal continuum is the continuum of all the imoriginals and imoriginals venues There are many different imoriginals for each original because each imoriginal can be sequenced in many different ways.
Principle of Orimultipostpotential: The original is multipostpotential. Consciousness beings are multipostpotential.
Type of immortality , TCE, DMF /Difference in theories: If you are a complete fatalist you believe that there is only one awarepath that you can experience in your life. It does not matter what you, nature, or any other conscious being decides to do, you or they have no control of what happens to you. Your awarepath is predetermined and that is all you will ever experience --- There is just one awarepath that you can ever experience. SST: CST: NST: SMT: Generally everyone else believes that if conditions are different enough we will experience something different. And that there are many conditions that could be different thus effecting the physipath/ awarepath produced. But once the awarepath happens it could not have been different or once the awarepath happens if it would have been different it would not have been you. If the exact same awarepath occurs again you will not experience it. If any other of these possible versions of your awarepath occurs you will not experience it either. MMT: says that nature, you, and other conscious beings can control which awarepath will be produced by the originals body by changing the sensepath enviropath etc. You are not limited to just one awarepath.
CAM/VT analogy Orimultipostpotential: The current recording of the movie of “your life” can proceed in any direction. It is not tied to any one path.
Subjective (ixperiencit) example: At this moment rather than reading this book you could read any of thousands of other books. Or do or experience any of billions of other things. What you can experience at any future moment is not limited by your/our limited present imagination.
Why/how Important?:
Citomultipostpotential
Discussion: What makes a cidentireplica different is that it can always diverge from the awarepath of the original at any time.
Question(s): Are cidentireplicas multipostpotential? Starting at any actual awaremoment do cidentireplicas actually have the potential to experience something different than what they do, if effecting conditions were different?
Definition: Citomultipostpotential is the term for the concept that starting at any awaremoment there are a very large amount of different physipaths /awarepaths
different concept Citopotentiality is the concept that a cidentireplica of an original can exist in the future.
Experiment set #Citomultipostpotential: In the experiment set for the original we imagined all sorts of different awarepaths the original can experience. The same thing applies to the cidentireplica except there are no limit to the amount of cidentireplica.
Prediction(s))/Difference in theories:At any one time the cidentireplica can follow any possible awarepath that the original can. Since there can be any number of cidentireplicas each one can diverge to each possible awarepath
Proof(s)/supporting evidence: This is based the materialistic concept of cause and effect if the cause of a change is different enough then the consequence of that cause will be different we can imagine many different sensepaths as the cause and the effect will be a different consciousness.
Principle of Citomultipostpotential: Cidentireplicas are multipostpotential as are originals. Citopotential cidentireplica is a cidentireplica that has the potential to exist even if it never does.
Citopotentiality For every original there is the potential for a functioning and structure that has these characteristics the consciousness can be tied to an awarepath of the original. Since there are many possible awarepaths that can be tied to any awarepoint.
Mentapotentiality a different physical functioning than the originals can produce consciousness. Proof there exists other physical bodies than an original and they produce consciousnesses.
There is not just one way to produce a particular cidentireplica one way is through convergence. A videntireplica can be manipulated to fine tune it into a cidentireplica We need the knowledge of what to do and how to do it can we have this knowledge
Any possible functioning and structure of a consciousness producing system has the potential of existing.
The concept of the essential physipath can be changed to include other factors than just functioning and structure, if it is scientifically found to be a factor effecting consciousness. Then the essential physipath could include modifications to the physipaths that awarepaducers or fidentireplica would create. “Essential” in terms of essential physipath means essential (necessary) to the production of a specific awarepath.
There can be material, physical, imaginary etc. factors that effect the awarepath produced by the physipath. The key is to find all the factors that can possibly effect the physipath but do not effect the awarepath. orinvarient or citoinvarient principles are ones that do not effect the awarepath produced.
Type of immortality, TCE, DMF /Difference in theories: SST, SMT,Singular theories do not deny that idoriginals or cidentireplicas can exist but that they will not be cases of survival for the original. MMT
CAM/VT analogy Citomultipostpotential: When we consider the movie “Your Life” or the movie “The Original’s Life” we can imagine many copies of that movie and at any current moment we can imagine a change in that movie leading to all sorts of different your life stories.

Why/how Important?:
Orimultiprepotential
Discussion:
Question(s): Can there be many different awarepaths that lead to the current awaremoment of the original?
Definition: Orimultiprepotential is the term for the awarepath of the original before the present. And the fact that it can be much different than you think occurred and that there are many possible awarepaths that lead to this point.
Experiment set Orimultiprepotential: You can do the experiments your self on your self. There may have been only one preawarepath that you were produced by but you can not know which one it is by the information you have available to you. You do not remember each second of each day of your life. Any number of different things could have happened in that time that you don’t and will never remember. Memories are not even that accurate so what you do remember may not be true either. Since memories are generated by the functioning of the brain you do not even have to have experienced any particular memory you have.
Prediction(s))/Difference in theories:
Proof(s)/supporting evidence:
Principle of Orimultiprepotential: Each cidentireplica could have a different physipath and awarepath that proceeded and produced the its present awaremoment that is exactly the same awaremoment as the original’s.
There are many possible different physipaths that could have produced your present physimoment. As a consequence There are numerous awarepaths that can lead to any original’s present actual awaremoment.

Why/how Important?:
The Ixperiencit paradox
The ixperiencit paradox is: if the key to survival and immortality is that “I experience it” then why will I not experience every possible awaremoment that applies to me that is happening at the same time? It would limit the breath and depth of awarepaths that can be produced at the same time. It makes you more than just the awaremoment that you are experiencing at this moment. The actual awaremoment is just a perspective on the greater whole you.
Imagine the situation where you travel in time, or a future or past you travel in time, the minute they exist in the same time as you, you both do not experience both awarepaths you still experience the awarepath that your physipath is producing. You can view each other and either know or not know that this person that you are looking at was or will be you and the experience that he experiences is not the same as what you are experiencing.
This is really not a paradox for the multimaterial theory of consciousness. this is because each awarepath is a perspective of the greater whole. If we were just unique awaremoments we could claim singularity but since we are awarepaths that are always changing an partially or totally intersecting with other actual and potential awarepaths we can not claim uniqueness of consciousness and consequently uniqueness of experience if we can not claim uniqueness we can not claim singularity singular individual distinct person self soul private separate
