THE AWAKENING CONCEPT
The awakening concept can be best understood as an analogy to the development of a babies consciousness into that of a child and then into an adult. We can look at it in two ways the awakening of consciousness or the consciousness awakening of the universe. The MMT allow this but all other major theories do not. You need the concept of continuation of consciousness with out continuousness of souls, bodies, or consciousness. You also need the concepts of enhancement, transformation, replication, maybe fragmentation, We are not tied to a simple soul, consciousness, or body as other theories do.
A young child becomes aware of itself gradually as it matures its awareness of the world becomes greater also
The universe can become aware of itself. Consciousness can become aware of itself. It can begin to see itself as more and more. It becomes self consciousness and that self becomes more and more. The consciousness develops gradually as life develops on earth. It see itself a human but with the advancement of human knowledge it becomes more aware of the complexity of the body of consciousness and of the universe early humans had a very limited view and understanding of the world and there were very few people then life was usually short and probably more painful.
It does not produce the ultimate god it is a progression an advancement it does not unit everything into one universal consciousness like the buddhist idea. And it is not the combining with the universal at such a low level of consciousness that the monks try to achieve. This is not a utopia world of simple awarepaths experiencing a simple life it is a world of understanding and experience at both higher and lower levels and all levels in between it is a world that decides what awarepaths to produce and takes responsibilities to insure that we do not end the conscious awakening. It is not something that we experience a small part of and then die never to experience anything again It is something that we actually experience it is conscious existence for us. The complexity of consciousness increases. What we know increase. Our understanding of what we really are increases. We are like a little child in a dangerous world that does not know exactly what to do. Do not know what we really are Do not know where we are going. Religions have it wrong about gods, immortality, souls morals belief in old books as absolute truths. Religions are like a sharp pointed stick that if we are not careful and fall on it, it will kill us. Even though we keep poking our selves with the stick causing harm and suffering. We believe we need it for our survival and protection.
Understanding the multiple materialist theory of conscious existence is a step on the path to this awakening. We may be just a little seed that is one of many to develop through the universe or we may be the only seed that has to develop on earth and spread consciousness through the universe at higher and higher levels of experience and understanding of consciousness and the universe. These superpath are conscious existence of us they will also be able to understand and experience exactly what we do when they want to and we will experience them and actually be them.
This can not happen if we are not united to the future that we will actually expereince the future as these superpaths what we are can be duplicated in higher level consciousnesses.
