Superimmortal

Most conscious beings including humans have the potential to be superimmortal. The superimmortal concept is very different from the immortal concept. Immortal usually means not ever dying, or in some religious contexts meaning only dying once and then going to another plane of existence like purgatory, heaven, or hell. The superimmortal concept is based on science not religions or supernatural concepts like souls, gods, etc. Conscious beings (humans) die. Conscious beings like humans are not resurrected or reincarnated by some supernatural entity or concept like gods or karma. The way a conscious being experiences conscious existence again is when one of a very large group of structures and functionings of matter is produced that has the same ixperiencitness as the original had. In a singular small universe that includes only earth and only exists for a short time superimmortality is unlikely for most conscious beings. But in a universe like we apparently live in, that can exist for trillions of years and is composed of an enumerable amount of matter and energy it becomes much more likely. It also also appears even more likely that there may be numerous other universes in a multiverse. It appears that this universe has randomly created conscious life forms such as humans. If this is how we have come to consciously exist and is the only way that this universe will ever produce conscious beings then being superimmortal in this universe may means very long intervals of non conscious existence. For example, from the beginning of the big bang to when you were first conscious could have been nearly 14 billions years of none conscious existence for you. And of course longer if you never consciously existed before the big bang. The random production of conscious beings by a universe is not an extremely productive way of producing consciousnesses. There is however a much more efficient way. This way is by the deliberate efforts of conscious beings. There exists billions of people on earth now where in the past there were many fewer. The reason there are so many now is because we have become much better at supplying the needs of people so they can be feed and kept alive in a difficult environment. This is do to a process called science or as others may call it a careful empirical and rational study of the reality that we exist in by many different conscious individuals with many different perspectives on reality in the end producing a more coherent and useful combination of ideas.

Science and technology can make superimortality more likely for each ixperiencitness defined grouping of consciousnesses. We currently make many human consciousnesses of a specific type. This type of consciousness is limited to the needs of living on earth and surviving in a relatively short lived human body that requires many unique resources to exist and reproduce. Only a small percentage of the earth is inhabited but many feel there are still to many people that exist on earth. We also know that there are not a lot of habitable earth like planets that are close to the earth.
