Mathematical proofs

Mathematical proofs use mathematical symbols to represent ideas that could be represented in verbal terms. Mathematical proofs use deductive logic to develop the proof from basic ideas or axioms. A mathematical proof is only as true as the original axioms and the syntax used in the proof.
