Their ability to achieve this this goal is based on how complete their science and technology is. Their goal may be unspecific. They may not know that they have any control at all over future existing [[awarepaths]], but they do have some control simply by their actions (behavior) toward other conscious beings and their luck in understanding and then solving problems.
