I started out developing the science of Mathematical Epistemology, In the process I got bogged down in creating an independent science dealing with [[consciousness]], [[ixperiencitness]],  and eventually with the  [[multiplicity of conscious existence]]. The purpose of science is to understand the world that we live in, and for controlling it to make life better for people and other conscious life forms. The question is then: How then do we create knowledge over wishful thinking? The end result of knowledge  besides satisfying curiosity, is to be able to solve problems. To solve problems you need knowledge. Usually there are many different ways to solve a problem and many more ways that you can try to solve a problem that will never work. 

Many problems seem ridiculous to even consider as solvable; such as making a square circle or making water out of carbon atoms. This is where [[consciousness]] comes in — you need consciousness to solve problems. And you have to have [[consciousness]] to appreciate the solution of the problem. If you cannot solve the problem maybe you can skip this step and go directly to the appreciation of the solution. This means creating the [[consciousness]] that thinks that the problem has been solved. 

Hundreds of years ago [[Descartes]] [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/René_Descartes] said essentially, you cannot be certain of your environment because it could be created in a [[experience machine]][http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Experience_Machine], thus the experiece that you are having now may not be directly connected to reality. If the problem, for instance, is being able to fly by solely flapping your arms, there is likely no solution in our current reality. But in a [[awarecontinuum]] there are many potential [[awarepath]]s that humans experience where they can fly by simply flapping their arms. Just because there is the [[awarepath]] that exists does not mean that there is actually a [[physipath]] that will be able produce, or to [[itomap]] to it.
