A [[chemical grouping sequence]] is the concept that one or more chemicals (external to the [[physapath]]) can be applied to the [[physapath]], at any amount per period of time, for any lenght of time, starting at any point on the physapath. A continuum of [[chemical grouping sequence]]s can be produced by slightly varying each of the parameters over each new [[chemical grouping sequence]] until every possible [[chemical grouping sequence]] is represented in the continuum. 

A [[Cgscontinuum]] is a complete set of [[chemical grouping sequence]]s in a continuum structure. Cgs is short for [[chemical grouping sequences]].
