An Itodimension is like a spacial dimension in the sense that it can be broken down into a continuum of pieces that can be aligned such that the ones that are closest together in some concept are closest together in the the dimension. Scales are a part of a dimension because they range between two extremes.

An example of an itophysadimension might be the speed that a particular neuron is firing. This is a limited sized itodimension because a neuron can fire only so fast. Since there are billions of neurons in the brain there would be billions of itodimensions of this sort in this type of physapath. Any time there is a range that some itoconcept covers or changes over, it can be represented as an itodimension or by a set of itodimensions.

A numerical linear dimension dealing with real numbers goes to infinity in two directions, negative and positive, and between any two numbers on this number line is a real infinite amount of numbers. This type of complexity is usually not necessary but is available when dealing with itodimensions. The number itodimensions in a itocontinuum can be extremely large. The size depends on the goal that the itocontinuum is being used for. One use itocontinuums is for itomapping. There can be a direct one to one itomapping between itodimensions. But usually there will be many physidimensions itomapping to fewer awaredimensions. Comparison of itopaths can be achived by a comparison of the itodimensions in each successive itomoment. Another use is for the representation of of the itospace in terms of epispaces.
