Afterlife

An afterlife is another way of saying life after death. But it can also have a different meaning too. If what comes after life is very different from life. What is life that something can be very different from life? It depends on your definition of life. Does life have to include being conscious? It is possible that a body can be animate but not conscious so in life you could be conscious and in an afterlife you could be a zombie with no consciousness at all but with an ability to move around or be animate. Life can be defined as life as we know it as normal humans beings. An afterlife could then be a bizarre and disjointed grouping of experiences, where you are conscious but not of normal every day human like experiences. It can be a shadowy environment with experiences that do not seem to fit together is any kind of order or meaning. It could also be what an alien would experience on or in a radically different alien world.

Awaretheory predicts that there are many ways of creating an afterlife or life after death for each person. When all these different ways are combined it creates immortality or more specifically many different types of immortalities for each person. Types of immortality is one awaretheory's topics that explains some of the types of life after death. Awaretheory is based on a very simple scientific concept that the structure and functioning of matter produces consciousness and ixperiencitness. It adds the corollary concept that identical structure and functioning over a period of time produce identical consciousness and ixperiencitness. This is the basis for scientific immortality. There is no need for supernatural entities like souls or gods to create this type of life after death. This does not mean that they can not exist in conscious experiences (awarepaths) produced by deliberately created sensepaths.
